  • Return of Cremated Remains: For families who choose private cremation, your pet’s cremated remains will be respectfully returned to you.
  • Memorial Keepsakes: Our cremation partner also offers a selection of meaningful keepsakes, including clay paw prints.

If you have any questions about these options or would like assistance selecting the service that best meets your family’s wishes, our team is here to help guide you through the process with care and compassion.

Supporting Children Through Pet Loss

Children often experience the loss of a pet just as deeply as adults, though they may express their grief differently depending on their age and understanding.

When talking with children:

  • Use simple, honest language.
  • Encourage them to ask questions and express their feelings.
  • Share favorite memories together.
  • Allow them to participate in saying goodbye if they wish.
  • Reassure them that feeling sad, angry, or confused is normal.

Reading books together, drawing pictures, creating memory boxes, or writing letters to a beloved pet can also help children process their emotions in healthy ways.

Coping With Grief

Grief has no timeline. Some days may feel manageable, while others may be unexpectedly difficult.

As you navigate your loss, consider:

  • Allowing yourself time to grieve without judgment.
  • Talking with family members or trusted friends.
  • Creating a memorial or tribute for your pet.
  • Looking through photographs or sharing favorite stories.
  • Maintaining daily routines while giving yourself grace.
  • Seeking additional support if grief begins to feel overwhelming.

The love you shared with your pet does not end with their passing, and the memories you created together will always remain a part of your life.
