At Brentwood Veterinary Center, we offer safe, comfortable boarding for dogs and cats within our veterinary facility. Whether your trip is a weekend getaway or an extended stay, your pet will enjoy a clean, secure environment and attentive daytime care from our professional veterinary team.

We treat every guest as if they were our own — because they are part of our extended family.

Monitoring & Supervision

Pets are supervised by our veterinary and kennel staff during normal business hours, with regular feeding, comfort checks, medication administration, and kennel maintenance performed throughout the day.

When the clinic is closed on holidays and Sundays, kennel staff come in to provide scheduled care for all boarding pets. After these visits, pets remain safely housed overnight in our locked, climate-controlled facility.

Continuous overnight staffing is not provided.

Boarding Requirements

To protect the health and safety of all our guests, pets must meet these requirements prior to boarding:

  • A current wellness examination
  • Up-to-date vaccinations appropriate for species
  • Free of internal and external parasites
  • Proof of vaccination records submitted prior to arrival

Required Vaccines

Dogs

  • DHPP or DHLPP (Distemper, Hepatitis/Adenovirus, Parvovirus ± Leptospirosis)
  • Rabies
  • Bordetella
  • Canine Influenza

Cats

  • FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia)
  • Rabies

Parasite Prevention

We strongly recommend all boarding guests remain on year-round flea, tick, and heartworm prevention for optimal protection.

What to Bring

  • Your pet’s regular food (sealed container or bag preferred)
  • Medications in original containers with detailed instructions
  • A favorite comfort item (toy, blanket, etc.)

Reservations

Boarding availability is limited and fills quickly — especially during holidays and peak travel times. Early reservations are recommended.
