Pet Digital Imaging in Wilson, NC
Radiographs & Ultrasound for Advanced Diagnostics
At Brentwood Veterinary Center, we utilize state-of-the-art digital imaging to quickly and accurately diagnose health conditions in pets. Our in-house radiograph (X-ray) and ultrasound capabilities allow us to visualize internal structures and provide answers—often within the same visit.
Why Imaging Matters
Pets can’t always tell us where it hurts, but diagnostic imaging gives us a window into what’s going on inside. Whether your pet is limping, vomiting, having trouble breathing, or just not acting like themselves, imaging helps us detect and treat problems early.
Digital Radiographs (X-rays)
Our digital radiograph system captures high-resolution images instantly, allowing for fast diagnosis and minimal stress for your pet.
We use X-rays to evaluate:
- Bones and joints (fractures, arthritis, hip dysplasia)
- Chest and lungs (coughing, heart size, pneumonia)
- Abdomen (foreign bodies, organ size, masses)
- Dental structures (if performing dental radiographs)
Digital technology also allows us to easily share images with referral hospitals or specialists if needed.
📡 Ultrasound Imaging
Ultrasound uses sound waves to create real-time images of soft tissues and organs. It’s a non-invasive, painless tool that’s especially valuable for internal diagnostics.
Ultrasound helps us evaluate:
- Liver, kidneys, and spleen
- Bladder and urinary tract
- Gastrointestinal issues
- Abnormal fluid or mass detection
- Pregnancy confirmation and monitoring
- Cardiac function (echocardiograms)
Our trained team—including Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) and Veterinary Assistants—works closely with our veterinarians to capture high-quality images, assist in procedures, and ensure your pet’s comfort throughout the process.
Fast, Accurate Answers When Your Pet Needs Them
